Thumbs up Light bulb change help....D'oh!

Hello and thank you for reading this message.

I frequently change light bulbs on my car with no problem. But a front bulb has gone and I can't reach it to change it. What am I doing wrong please?

There should be a photo with this message showing the bulb in question with the red arrow. I can take out the entire light unit and detach the power cable, and open up the lighting unit. But I cannot then reach the bulb.

Any guidance please? Thank you.

Pretty sure these ones just pull out, but you really need some super long nose pliers to get a grip on the plug. It's right in there in the back of the unit.

Yeah, long nose pliers and grip the plastic bulb holder and pull it, don't be tempted to grab it by the wires!

Thumbs up

Hello!

Just got round to this. As you explained, the fitting pulls out with the right length pliers.

At the same time I cleaned the dipped beam lenses. The newest link about doing that is :

Thanks again for your replies.

Question

Ok, another question, please!

Now I need a spare city light bulb. I've found a few different reference numbers online so I'm not certain. Does anyone know the city light bulb reference?

Thank you.

It is a simple T10 5w wedge bulb. I think you can also just show the burned out bulb in the shop, they should give you the correct one
