Hi everyone,

STRBRYAN came down and picked up the car today. It was great to see it moving again, even if it was on the back of a trailer!

Thanks very much to everyone for all your excellent advice and helpful comments. You've got a brilliant community going here.

just found your post on the car how yummy......yep the lump would look good in there but mines on an auto box.........may have to change a few things but you have them on yours so would be easy hope it sells and dose not get chopped

Hi Andy

The car has made its way home now and will look lovely once again after its had a little bit of TLC. Next job is to source an engine and get it running, which I hope wont be too long of especially with the weather we are having at the moment.

Tony is a little worse for wear now after having to push the car up the drive and has a muscle/ankle strain, lets hope he's not out of action for long.

The youngest had a sit in the back and thinks its great too

not sure where I'm going to put the shopping though - but what a compromise

iv just got some leather seats to go in the v70, and im worried the SRS light might come on and have to be taken off again (wink)

Just make sure the battery is disconnected 20 mins before you start, and then ensure everything is reconnected before you reattach the battery.
