850 / V70 bumpers and valance compatability

Probably answering my own question here, does the painted bumper/valance from a v70(classic) fit an 850 with the grey bumper inserts etc. A friend of mine for whatever reason want to match the whole lot as he is sick of faded grey.

I can understand why your friend wants to replace his 850 bumpers - I too got fed up with trying to keep the black trim black - but I doubt that the V70 classic bumpers would fit.
