Does the C30 2010 1.6D have an in-tank pump?

No , thats why you have to prime it with a hand pump if air gets in the system for whatever reason ..

Ahh so if it's a pump issue it'll likely be a faulty fuel injection pump?

I had similar on 2.0D, air in line after fuel filter was removed and put back. Parked with engine uphill over night, no fuel to engine, no start. Are there any bubbles in the fuel lines?

It's back at the garage now so i'm not too sure. Last I heard they were about to take the tank off to find out if there is a fuel tank pump. One minute Volvo says it has a pump then next they say it doesn't.

Hi, did you ever establish what the problem was? Having a similar issue with my 2012 C30 D2.

Everything seems fine, tank 350km until empty & decided to cut out 1 km from my home. Engine turns over, no error messages.

Battery is new.
