Default XC70 the same

Does any one know if the rear brake back plate is the same on a XC70 as on a XÇ90
They look the same on the pictures but guessing the size are different.
Just hoping someone might know..... Maybe?

Unlikely,

The XC90 has a cable operated handbrake and appropriate brackets on the back plate for the brake shoes that act on the drum in the disc.

The XC70 (P3 models) have an electric handbrake that works using the brake pads on the disc.

XC70 (P2) models had a cable handbrake but the brake shoes are a different part number to the XC90 (31262869 for the 70 as opposed to 31262874 for the 90) so I wouldn't think the back plates would be the interchangeable.

Perfect thanks. The 90 one seems harder to get hold of and more expensive.
Like your horse picture.
Both my wife and daughter have a horse...
