Default 2002 v40 t4

Right just kind of testing the water here, basically I've been given a bonus at work (unexpectedly) and to conincide with that I've seen a car I've always wanted come up for sale locally, so I'm contemplating selling the T4 (which I'll probably regret) so just seeing if any one would be interested....

I spent over 6 months looking for a T4 before I decided on this one, Its a 2002 V40 T4 sport lux, it has almost every extra (leather, factory HID's, winter pack, heated seats, all electric, aluminium look insert (quite rare not the normal fake wood type)) basically the only things it doesn't have are cruise control & a sunroof!.

The best bit is the car is low mileage for a volvo only 69k, it had timing belt & tensioners done in march when I got it along with an oil change. For the MOT last month it had new mintex discs and pads all round, HEL braided brake lines, upgrade to dot 5.1 brake fluid, and new front to rear brake pipes (common issue on S&v40's) no other advisories on the MOT. It has a good service history and comes with 2 keys. So with all the above its good to go and should need no cash spent for a while.

During the time I have owned it I have changed the wheels to 17" BK racing wheels, with 4 new budget tyres on (tyres only about 4-5 months old), and I 've added a plain black sport grill, and a 10 disc sony multichanger with FM transponder, plays CD's through the standard headunit.

As you can expect from a car that took 6 months to source its in very good condition with only some minor scratches and a few little car park dents, its not mint but it is in good nick no rust on the bodywork either, the car will come with the private plate T4 FLU (valued at £400) although the car is actually a 52 reg its located in glasgow....

I'd be looking for around £2100 anyone interested?

Pics when I got it

if i didnt already have one i'd definitely be interested

i'd say on a good day you'd be looking at about £1600 - £1700

sadly the car market for sellers is poop at the mo, for buyers though they can grab some great bargains

Hi

Nice looking car, I maybe looking for an upgrade to my 97 V40 if you do decide to sell.

Let me know when you make a decision with a price.

Cheers

I have a fellow member coming to see the car tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes, to be honest I'm still in two minds about sellling, I'm going to see so possible new cars over the weekend so I'll see how I get on with them and if the chap coming tomorrow is interested...

Problem is I need to get what I'm after for the car to be able to get the ones I'm looking at, and if I can't get what I'm after I'm just as happy to keep the car

Right just to update this thread a forum member came to see the car a few weeks ago and we agreed a price but due to unforeseen circumstances the sale never happened (I got let down on the car I was buying, then the forum members current ride dumped its coolant and has a suspected snapped timing belt so he was forced to relunctantly pull out) I m still in 2 minds but if anyone is interested let me know

The care is close to what I am looking for, estate, quickish, and clean.

Can't PM cause still haven't posted enough.

Are you still after £2100 to give me an idea if it's in budget for me or not.

Cheers
