It depends in your situation. In my case, I wanted to install cruise control on our car without having to pay £200+ for programming it in my ECU. CHeck this thread to see what I did: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=169513 In your case, if it is only the immobilizer unit that is faulty, then one option is to get a brand new one and get it programmed to communicate with the ECU. I remember speaking to a dealer and they said that it could only be done with a brand new one and not a second hand one. Only problem here is that the immobilizer box costs around £300 and then you have the programming costs. That is why I suggested you get a complete lockset which includes the following ECU Immobilizer control Unit Keys Lock barrel on steering wheel drivers door lock barrel Boot lock barrel Glovebox lock barrel You should be able to get all of the above for about £60-£80 from someone breaking a car with the same engine and ideally an automatic one. You don't have to worry about the key fobs as they work separately on their own and are not directly linked to the ECU lockset system Hope this helps

What condition is the Boost Hose in?
And how much for that + Camshaft Position Sensor + the wee coin tray that sits behind the gearstick? |

I'd be interested in a few things there assuming they would fit my motor being a phase 1.
Could youg ive me prices and first refusal please. Steering wheel Cupholder/arm rest centre console with gator, gear knob and lighter assembly. (handbrake lever required to fit ph1?) passenger side front bumper reflector/side marker Possibly front suspension if in excellent condition

Camshaft sensor has already been sold, but I did have a spare one so I need to find it. If yes, then it's yours for £10 Coin tray, free Quote:
Not sure what you mean by "seatbelt catches". You mean the buckles? If yes, they are yours for free. If you mean the rear screen wash motor in the washer bottle, is £5 reasonable? I also remember that you asked me for the driver's B-pillar plastics, so they are yours if you want them for free too. Is £120 reasonable? Quote:
Steering wheel. Cheapest sport one I could find was £25 + £8PP. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-VOLVO...item2ec938816b . So does £15 sound reasonable? Cupholder/arm rest centre console with gator, gear knob and lighter assembly. (handbrake lever required to fit ph1?) £35 for the lot reasonable passenger side front bumper reflector/side marker. Phase 1 is not the same as P2 Possibly front suspension if in excellent condition. Top mounts are in perfect condition. There is some surface rust at the bottom of the struts. Is £40 reasonable for the pair?
