Default Speed limit in driver display

Hey all,

I picked up a 14 plate V40 D3 R-Design Lux Nav yesterday. So far, love it. Suffers on pot holes and speed bumps, but apart from that feels great.

I've seen a lot of pictures online that show a speed limit in the bottom right of the main driver's display, I assume from a speed camera warning. Although I have the warnings enabled and get the beep in my car, I don't see this, regardless what theme I have the car in. The only way I can figure out what the speed limit I'm being warned about is is to have it in sat nav mode (doesn't have to be running a route), and get the speed on the main display, not the drivers one.

Am I missing something obvious? Does it only work when you're actually using the sat nav? Is it part of the year 15 Sensus upgrade, or some other special feature?

Example of what I'm talking about,

Thanks,

Steve

That requires the 'Road Sign Information Display' option, which I believe was only ever available as part of a ~£2k driver support pack. This reads the signs using a camera and then displays them.

The one you see as part of the sat nav is from the maps, so doesn't always match if the signs have changed or in roadworks etc.

Yes, the driver support pack contains an extra camera (3 altogether I think) that is dedicated to reading road signs.
