Default V50 door electrics problem

Hi. I have an intermittent electrical problem with drivers side door electrics failing. Sometimes I can't get the switches to open any of the windows, the door locks or move the mirrors yet Th r other windows work from their own switches. When this happens it only enables me to lock doors from key fob except the drivers door. If I turn off ignition and restart car a few times then everything works normally again from divers door control panel. This is intermittent but annoying. Any help would be brilliant.
Thank you.

Unplug the wiring loom in that door and give it a good spray with contact cleaner and once dried out spray with silicone for good measure.
