Default 145 on Ebay

Just noticed this on ebay (nothing to do with me by the way!)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-145-...item4193d2d326

May be worth a look if someone is local, interior is far from original though!

I note the overdrive light in the speedo, may or may not still be fitted?

Yes it's a tad....scruffy. Shame it's in the awful maroon otherwise I'd be interested. Can't see him getting a bag of sand for it!

Its not too bad but will clearly need a lot of lower level welding. The interior is later 240 and the doors are either late 140 or early 240. On my car I'm going to modify the pillars to take later 240 doors as mine as a bit rotten and late 240 doors I have a couple of sets of so makes sense to make them fit. I've already fitted late 240 mirrors and a few other 240 bits on mine

Good point - hadn't noticed that the rear seat was 60/40 split until now!

Default I went to veiw.

Hi all
i went to veiw this car. Nice guy there to meet me.

Never looked underneath but the guy told me one of the main members is bad with rot.

The engine as far as i can tell is in very good working order
sounded good to me . very still while running

Drives and stops

inside and out mucky

engine bay been undersealed

sills look bulky may be filler (forgot my magnet)

if you want to restore it i think it may be a huge job. And lots of ££££££

if you want to just get it back on the road that maybe easyer.

I think its worth £500.

But i am not an expert.....good luck to any one.
