I honestly can't say. Let's see (digging the details out of the Filling Cabinet) The number I have for Customer Services is 0870 1602536 & their claims dept is 0870 1602539. I do remember once having been given an 0800 Freephone number for them but all that was for was Renewals Line Only. - Try their website YES it may have other numbers I am not privvy too.

Cheers Mate, I shall make a note of that & of the sayno0870 site. A penny saved & all that makes me feel much better now that BT have decided to fleece us unworthies who prefer the non direct debit way for extra cash each month.

Default A a-plan Insurance

Just giving these guys a big up for giving me an excellent deal on my car insurance. Their number is 01635 521818 I spoke to a very helpfull guy called Alistair.

Just about to buy a 940 sport A1 quoted me £259.49 fully comp & £100 excess with nil years NCB as I use all of it on my T5, they said they would match my NCB on my other policy real result.

Some other quotes I got:

AA = £316 with £350 excess
Hastings Direct = £377.66 with £250 excess
I forgot the name of this company wish I did'nt as they use Indian call centre £441

Well worth a try quote you were refered from the VOC forum they will bend over backwards fantastic service!

Default A-Plan - Superb

I've just bought an 850, and like many of you on here I phoned A-Plan Insurance in Newbury.

Wow!!! The cheapest quote from the 12 that I tried, they saved me £70 from my next best price, and were friendly to boot.

The best bit was that they also saved me £125 on my Buildings and Contents Insurance, which isn't due until August. They helped me cancel my existing policy with Barclays and make a saving straight away!!

Does anyone else insure more than one Volvo ?
I like 240's & the 700 series & have one of each so I can work on (break) one & still drive to work. However, I'd like to have a policy where I can insure both for the price of one(or maybe a bit more) as I only ever drive one at a time.
Maybe even share my NCB between the two ?
Any recommendations ?
Regards
Ben

they gave me an excellent quote as well. Make sure that you get A "like 4 like" comparison. i noticed in the policy summary they sent that new car replacement was not included whereas most policies allow this for cars under 1year and some even 2years now.

Try www.saynoto0870.com

Brings up a few options for Yes Insurance - the freephone sales number and an 0191 529 6060 - main switchboard.

Hth - still happy with A-Plan btw!
