I can fully accept why he did this but as an avid volvo addict it was more like torture offering little bits here and there. To be fair he offered it for less than the scrappage scheme but didn't have to,so he was trying to save the old gal.I am poorer than I've ever been at the moment and if I had to I would park mine up just to save on costs of insurance tax and running costs. But then again I wasn't lucky enough to have nearly the right amount for a new one.? Hmm I may have just changed my mind!

I wonder if we will get to see the new car once he gets it.And I wonder which scrapyard it will go to the glt that is,

Yes, it was very generous to offer the GLT at such a knock-down price considering 2k was on the table. I bet most people in the same sitiation would have sent the old Volvo packing without a second thought!

Its a pity it wasnt saved, but I guess most forum members on the VOC website already have Volvos of their own!

Hi, If the door trim is black, would love to get hold of the left rear passenger door external trim?
Many thanks, John

try these they rebuild ecu modules. A 240 glt module will not be any use to you as it is 4 cylinder, and a bertone will be 6 cylinder?

A mate of mine scrappaged a micra for a VW Fox; the dealer said that as the paperwork was ok (mot, proof that owned more than 12mths etc) all he had to do was be able get it on to the forecourt even if that meant pushing it.

So no need to worry about what you take off it, as long as it will roll no problems! Don't waste anything!

Hi,
Shame it has to go but you can't turn down 2K, we've just scrappaged a Rover 200 in excellent condition, seems such a waste, but nice new Hyundai in drive now.

Anyway, are the door pockets still available?
