Hi, Does anyone have a pair of upper door cards for sale for a 1991 480 SR Turbo? Also looking for the two small matching dash inserts.
Thanks, Jim. |

You mentioned my name ?
do you need leather or black jacquard . for the turbo I reckon its black jacquard ie black patterned cloth not leather and not velour. |

Just got the car last week, previous owner installed dark grey leather seats, but the door cards and dash inserts are a strange dark greenish colour, made of a leather look material with stitching around the borders and are badly marked. I would like to return the interior to nearer original if possible. Glasgowjim as you have advised black jacquard, then I'm sure that would be the way to go. Do you have a set for sale? Thanks, Jim. |

Whoa I did not advise anything . Turbos usually come in black jacquard.
S 's in sponge bob velour and some come in cloth and others in leather , celebrations come in black ruched leather door cards . Then there is the special patterned green leather as well. The worst thing you can do is mix and match if you have leather seats you should have leather inserts although you can get away with black jacquard for the rest as long as the rear side panels match the door cards and dash panels if you understand me . It is raining cats and dogs just now in Glasgow will cHeck out what I have and give you a selection to choose from if possible. |

The cards your describing in you car at the moment are the Paris Edition ones, quite rare. If its the turbo that was on ebay a few weeks back then the previous owner had them from me, but they did want restoring really!
You could get some leather spray paint and spray them up to match your seats. I did the ones in my GT earlier this year as they were very tatty and they turned out nice. |
