Best deal at the moment is either full synthetic Havoline at about £17.00 per 5 litres or semi-synthetic Havoline at £15 per 5 litres, both from Morrisons petrol stations, usually attached to their supermarkets. It was on half price sale recently but my local has gone back to full price (still very cheap), yours may have some at the half price but I doubt it.
I have been using the full and semi-synthetic in my 940 turbo diesel for years and it is excellent.
Synthetic Mobil 1 or others are generally around £40 per 5 litres!

Just to back the others up. Yes its fine. Longer drain intervals may be achieved thus making Fully Syns more economical to use. However be mindful of filter life.
