Default New V70R Owner INBOUND!

Hi All,

Just introducing myself, currently in the process of importing this beautiful Flash Green V70R with Atacama Leather.

Reliving a little bit of my childhood here after my dad had both a P1 V70R in Saffron Gold and a P2 V70R in Flash Green. Sadly he must have chickened out on the interior as his was Nordkapp! Anyway, sadly he has since passed and I've owned both a C63 and now the V70R in his honour!

Anyway, a few pics of the car from the auction listing. I am expecting a few more from the port shortly before it goes onto the boat and I finally get to see her in person in a couple months! I will update in due course.

The car itself is a Japan Import with NO rust! 2004 '53' Reg, 96,000km or just under 60,000 miles, Sunroof and. I'm sure a few more options.

Anyway, I will let the pics do the talking!

Nice car. I'm completely ignorant of the importing process. Is it involved? Do you have a broker?

Welcome BTW.

Hi, someone else on here has just imported one. See this thread - you might find it interesting: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=312727

Jason is a friend of mine, I actually helped him through the process of importing it. It looked so good I fancied one for myself!

Thanks, yes I have a broker out in Japan, they translate auction sheet, inspect the car and bid on your behalf. Once the car has been purchased they also arrange all documents to be sent on and the car to be shipped. It's actually a fairly straightforward process.
