This was information I was given on making an enquiry.

"Volvo have sold out of the current XC90 & it is due to have a few specification changes (eg the Active will no longer have active headlights, heated washer nozzles or headlight washers)."

I believe the cars officially go on sale on 19th March 2010.

I wonder if they will still call the S model the XC90 Active ? - seems a bit rich if it will no longer have the "Active" bending lights !

New changes are still not reflected on Volvo's website as its still showing the XC90 active with the Active Bending Headlights...

I've heard that D-Day is actually tomorrow but also that the Active will no longer have the Xenon bending headlights.

Instead of 2.4d (175hp 2.4 litre) or as well as?

Drive the Deal have reposted pricing & show 2.4D. No mention of D3.

How does this fit into pricing? If both engines are available then I guess the D3 reduces the lowest price diesel but if the D3 replaces the 2.4D then........?

D3 automatic?

I heard some weeks ago from my dealer's man in Sweden that there would be a new 2 litre diesel for the UK Market...

It's supposed to be 136bhp I think...

That could be what the d3 is?

D3 tech spec here if you scroll down a bit\:

https://www.media.volvocars.com/glob...31846_1_5.aspx

163hp at only 3000rpm!

The car that I would like would be a 2 wheel drive 205hp D5 automatic but I am not holding my breath.
