Default I'm starting my 242 project

Well I'm getting into it now.

I'm selling the interior. (Sorry Tim but the interior almost made me turn around and go home, but i love the rest of the car), i've got a Porsche 911 seat that looks a "easy" fit but I'm always looking for better.

my order for my megasquirt programmable fuel system has been sent and my EDIS parts are here waiting to tie into the megasquirt for ignition. When that comes I'll have to build it. This system should allow me get it running properly as it's fully programmable for fuel and timing. Also allows me to get rid of the Dizzy which look like is where it's leaking oil.

I'm looking for a Aluminium flathood.
My fibreglass GrpA wing is on it's way (Thanks Dave DBSvolvo's)

I've gotta sort out the rust patches. Left underside is ok due above mention's oil leak. but there some on the right underside and front are. Also small spots on the body in general and the rear of the right sill needs serious attention. and just surface rust under the boot floor.

Here how it stands at the moment

As you can see I've been fixing vac lines, made a throttle plate bypass to control idle speed (B234F TB has no idle speed screw), and this morning Fitted some 242GT. strut to firewall braces that i had sent from Australia. also replaced the old FSE RRFPR (making bad noises) with one i had in the garage, and put new dizy cap, rotor and the correct heat range plugs to see if would run better which it does a little.

Looking for fibreglass, or lightweight, bonnet - boot lid - rear spoiler - front spoiler - bumpers for my 242 rally car.

Got any ideas or contacts?

Thanks
