cumbrianmale you always seem to get your bits cheaper than me as well. Can you get me some oil at that price, I have just been quoted £6.99 per litre from lloyds, but did only pay £4 for my oil filter and £11 for the fuel, did not need a air filter as one was fitted just after I bought it. I too would be only too happy to help you out 505 live 1/4 of a mile from cumbrianmale so I too are just as close.

My best purchase from them was a coil & ignition amplifier multi plug thing (400 series). Around £100 worth new. They let me have one that was used only for testing cars in fault diagnosis & no longer needed for £30. Bargain!

air filter list 13.60 paid 9.50
magnetec 10/40 list 6.65 paid 3.40 x4

goods 39.96 vat 7.00 total 46.96
discount 26.04

I do get all my parts there and do 30k miles a year. With repairs servicing and parts I have probably spent £3k+ in the last 2 years.

Edit spent just over £1100 on this car in last year with Lloyd.
Yes price's were INCLUDING VAT. Looks like i need to do a bit more negotiation if i'm going to buy from them. I'm not used to paying so much for O/E service parts as i look after 3 Vauxhalls Vectra & corsa's so have blagged a Vauxhall tradeclub card so gives me O/E oil filter £1.22, Fuel filter £6.02, air filter £4.71 all + VAT. OIL semi synthetic 10w40 sl/cf A3/B3 , 4 X 5 litre £28.53 +VAT thats £1.43 +vat per litre. OR 4 x 20 litre £94.98 +vat thats £1.19 +vat per litre. Plus other very useful savings.

If you get your oil that cheap from Vauxhall I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Try these chaps: http://www.gsfcarparts.com/

Obviously, you'll not get original parts.

I use them for most of my bit & bobs. No probs yet

Yeh, very true! I always e-mail my requirements to make sure I'm getting the right item, then phone through with payment info once all is confirmed.

Almost on first name terms nowLOL, but that's the joy of having a 480Turbo..................

Well i don't like spending any more than i have to on a 4 wheeled tin can ,thats not to say i don't keep them in tip top condition ,as i do.Thats why we are still running the Peugeot 505 estate that we bought new in 1988.
