Updated Radio - possible/available?

Hi - I've an XC90, with AM/FM Radio & CD. There's also a mini-disc fitted and Sat-Nav and 'phone.

I'd like to upgrade the radio to a DAB unit (with FM & AM also). Does anyone have any information on whether an aftermarket (or even Volvo) alternative is available, which would still allow the other items to operate with the normal Volvo controls?

Its probably possible to do but the work involved to get everything to function afterways wouldnt be worth the cost.

Ive not seen anything that Volvo offer or plan to offer DAB wise as of yet.

Thank you for your e-mail below. DAB radio facilities is being looked into by the designers at the factory, however, at the moment we do not have a DAB radio accessory. I am sorry to disappoint you.

Additionally, after a query to Volvo from my dealer, I was told that it would probably be in 2007.

I'll wait with bated breath (and a full wallet?)

Little bit of a lame repley. After market is the only way to go then. I have fitted a DAB MP3 etc etc to my 850, but it has none of the features you've listed.
