A quite nice 945 i was going to do lots to this car but events have got in the way and i have tooo many cars around at the moment that and having a boat blocking the drive it just has to go. It is pretty standard apart from blue LED's in the dash and chrome rings on the dials Taxed till May 2009. The only problem that i know about is that 'sometimes' the pre heat does not come on - when it does - it starts first flick - when it does not you need to crank it over a bit but it always starts and there is a wee dink in the boot visible in the pictures and a dink on the offside front wing that is not really noticeable as it is in the area above the rubber trim strip.

Looking for £650 or sensible offeres - it has to go as i have now got the 855 (my all time fave Volvo) back on the road that and with the SL 500 and Fiat Panda and teh drive blocked things are just getting silly car wise.

The car will come with the wheels that you see in the pictures in the park which are Adhara 15" alloys OR of you want to give me £800 it can come with them AND a nice set of Auriga 16" Alloys.

It also has quite a nice reg number on it and only 229600 miles on the clock it has the 5 speed manual gearbox the car is in Motherwell in sunny Scotland.

regards

David

So can I assume £150 buys the Aurigas? If so can I have first refusal?

All the best, Peter.

Well you know what they say about assumptions ;-) and that was a "with the car price really" for sure they are not for sale off the car 'at the moment' - really i would prefer to sell them with the car or wait until after the car has gone - a much better offer might tempt me though. Things could be changing though as my repaired 855 is NOT running well - it has the old wont start problem back again (but i can start it easily now with the key flick trick) more seriously it is misfiring quite badly the number one plug is wet and dark brown so i need to do a compression test first to see if i have real internal engine problems - also the dizzy cap and rotor arm are way past their sell by date probably i should fit a new set HT leads too but only IF the compressions are all ok - hate to think its a head off job - bugger bugger bugger,

That is good , it has the M90 box! Best Five-on-the-floor Volvo made. If I win a spot of money soon I will definitely buy your car. Being a disabled pensioner, it is unfortunately out of my affordability bounds at the moment.

All the best and keep your fingers crossed for me, Peter.

Hi i may indeed be interested in the old girl myself... Tho i have ben looking for a TD a little newer than this. With these miles on her what mpg are you still getting out of her.

Can you please PM me with a contact number and any more details, particularly around what servicing has been done. Im based in Stirling so not a million miles away and dependant on what you reply i would like to come and view her this week if possible.

PLEASE BUY DAVID'S 945!!!

She used to be mine and we bought her for the sole purpose of driving to ROME in Italy and back. She is a darn good car and really comfortable!!

I like what you have done with the dash lights David - looks cool!
