740 GL Estate- 1988
2 owners-me for 17 years ! maintained by myself.
No intention to sell, but a chance too good to miss came my way. I had intended to keep indefinitely, as it has been an amazing car. Open to offers. |

Why don't people say what they are selling and name a price?
Why oh why do people do that?
All they write is, effectively, 'Please buy my car.' As if we are all mind readers. Unfortunately, that immediately puts the seller in the position of looking like one of those '... oh I forgot to tell you about ...' style sellers if and when they actually have someone turn up to view the car. Just a suggestion but how about letting us in on the following secrets: The asking price you want to achieve Date to expiry of Mot Month RFL runs out Auto or manual Estate or saloon Engine size and if turbo Petrol or diesel What's especially good about your car Plus what's known to be wrong with said vehicle Don't tell us you don't know these points. Thanks - there really are buyers here but don't waste anyone else's time. Rgds

Truly the last of the big spenders. I would have been looking for some change.
