Default XC60 default radio volume

Hi,

I upgraded out car to an XC60 2014 and is wondering how the radio volume can be controlled. I can of course turn it up and down on the knob but it seems to reset to a low level each time I leave the car, thus requiring me to adjust the volume everytime I start the car.

Is the a setting somewhere to set this default start level or a setting that allows the last level to be remembered? I've search through the menus and cannot seem to find anything related to the default radio volume.

(Please forgive me if this isn't the right place to ask and let me know)

Yours,
Jens

I wonder if it is from within the equaliser settings, automatic volume control...?

I've attached an image of the early 2014 XC60 user manual instructions.

I assumed that the automatic volume control would add on top on the current level, as long as the level isn't set to max of course. At least that is how I've seen it done in other cars previously.

I have the "automatic volume control" setting on. I'll turn it off and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've now tried disabling the "Automatic volume control". Unfortunately that did not make a difference. The volume still reset to a rather low level each time I enter the car.
