Finally stripping of a '62 120
It's time to clean out some of the field cars. The target for next week is to finish stripping out a '62 120. Thus if you need anything that might be on this car, let me know. Nose and some parts of the early grills, engine, carbs/linakge are gone, still have the trunk handle, early window cranks + thin donuts. Still has the front towel bar with brackets (and very straight). I was suprised to find that at some point in it's life, it got a set of the '68 wiper linkage (cable style, no slap like the earlier rods and gears)
(Before anyone says anything, it's beyond saving, rusty and I have already cut parts off for other folks) For best response, drop me a note directly as I don't read this board every day. Yes, I'm across the pond but willing to ship where ever.... Thanks Chris agent_strangelove@hotmail.com |

Gareth-
I don't remember if you got the two bolt or three bolt.... I have a couple of two bolt filters that could be cut apart and reused. One is an original set and the other are more like the generic ones. Neither is chrome but could be a project. There is even an original box for the Volvo ones.... The other set I have are chrome but thin and set up for three bolt carbs. There are extra holes in the back of these but it would be easy to put a rubber plug in there or something... Let me know but the easiest and quickest way is to email direct. Hi Chris,
62-64 grills: Is that all you have? I'm in need of some parts - specially the left surrounding trim - which unfortunately looks to be the "worst" in your pictures? How much for the hole deal? 62-64 B18B filters with box - price? In another "Sales" thread you search for switches for the early 1800 series - The little Lucas switches? I've got a few. (Even a NOS with "Ö.VÄXL" trim/badge in NOS)
