1988 240 in-line fuel pump

Hello all

It's my first post, I hope I'm following all the rules ok.

I have been searching for 3 months for a replacement in-line fuel pump for my 1988 Volvo 240 GLT. Volvo have stopped making them and I can't find any that match my model on ebay or the US stores that accept a UK credit card. I already bought a second hand one which also didn't work. I'm truly desperate as I have been unable to drive for three months. If anyone could help me source one I'd be so grateful.
