Question Bleeding cooling system?

Hello everyone,

Quick question for you. Does my old man's (1994) 440 have an air bleed for the coolant? Have a feeling the thing is airlocked thanks to him letting the level drop too low before refilling more than once ...

Thanks a lot.

Regards,

Anthony.

Red face Minor success

Oh dear ...

Decided to bleed the coolant pipe at the back of the carb ... crappiest design ever. A big plastic headed screw with a narrow thread ... damn thing snapped, but the revs settled at 'only' 1,700 and the fan came on for the first time in months!

A bittersweet victory I think ....

Anthony.
