Is £25 plus £3 1st postage reasonable? I will make sure it's clear of any fault codes. You could just plug it in and see what happens. If the only fault in your car is the SRS module, then the replacement will sort out your problem. If however you have another problem with your wiring, then a new error code will register on the SRS module and the SRS light will come on again. I am more to reset it for you again and again provided you cover the postage costs only

That's brilliant, think I'll have a quick look at it tomorrow, I'm tempted to take it somewhere with the correct reader first as I dont want to replace it if the fault is something other than the module just dying. If it is a replacement thats required you will be my first port of call! Just out of interest...i noticed the middle section of my front spoiler has come off somehow...could this have anything to do with it or is it totally irrelevant? Thanks again

Mid section has nothing to do with it. Quite a few people have theirs missing. See how you get on and feel free to ask here if you need any more help

Just a quick update....took my S40 to another local garage that had a diagnostic machine. After a few minutes the mechanic informed me that he had reset my airbag light, it was showing a error code for the o/s side airbag but let him reset it! he said it might just be a glitch.
So far so good...:-)
Only cost £35.00 to have the light reset
