Hi, nice car,
One question, what went wrong with the engine to need rebuilding at less than 98k miles? Looks like a good one, but cash is low right now due to wage drop...so I will have to pass. All the best with the sale though. MB4 |

before i bought it the car was sat for 4 years when i put it on the road it developed a sticky lifter making a horrible noise, i then saw the fully rebulit forged engine for sale, so i thought i would rather have that, i run it in for 1000 miles

shame to see it go franky, they are def on the way up in price.
do you remember the t5r saloon I brought a while back in olive green from the isle of wight for £350? had a bit more mileage with a good history (about as good as it gets history wise), was nicely spec'd suspension, rip, 4 pot brakes plus wheels. But needed a bit or body work on one quarter as paint had faded. I sold it for £3500 a few months back. So I would agree they are going up in price, i'll be selling one of my spare gull's later in the year for 3500-4500 depending on what I end up doing and whether its the saloon or estate. |

Over on the continent they price them much more and are always after parts with much more of a heritage scene. Just have to stick with it as prices in the last two years have risen a lot, usually means supply is not keeping up with demand. Eventually the good ones will be left and prices will go up, I actually think for what they are compared with cosworth's etc they are extremely cheap. |

people on vpc have no money so when you say 850r for sale they wasnt one for 1000-1500 and cant understand why mine is different, the wheels look alot better in the flesh, always look darker in photos
