Default Which Wishbone?

Hi there

I need to replace my front passenger wishbone on my 2007 S40D, so I am going to do both. I now know that there are two sizes, 18mm and 21mm. Is there any way I can find out what size I need without stripping it down, and then putting it back together? Thanks in advance for any help

I think if you call the main dealer with your VIN number they should be able to tell you.

The Dealers will be reluctant to tell you if they believe you're going to buy elsewhere though.

When I was trying to find out the same info with mine I got into a conversation with a MD that went something like: "my mechanic thinks there's two different sizes, something about 18mm or 20-something? does that affect the prices? which one has my car got out of interest and how much are they as were planning on replacing them?"..........

Mine were 18mm, I have no idea which cars got the 21mm.
