Default 262 OWNERS- Can anyone help?

I need to find a window weather strip for my 262. (The rubber and felt strip that hugs the window and is attached to the door). The rubber is perished and is letting water in. Any help gratefully received. David

If you can`t find it as a Volvo part the company on the link below may have an alternative.

Hi,

Just wanted to say I have the exact same problem, posted it twice and never received so much as a squeak out of the group.

Seems weather strips around windows are just not as darned interesting as engines. Got plenty of replies with them.

Still haven't solved my problem. Let me know if you have any joy.

David Jones.

You might all get a higher rate of response by posting in the 'Wanted' forum rather than the general 2-series technical forum.

The 262 is not exactly ten a penny on the ground so parts availability is much less than for other models.

I don't think it is a lack of interst in your problem rather a lack of anything positive to contribute. I hopr we will not all be expected to sent 'nil returns' on questions posted.
