001ben New Member Last Online: May 11th, 2014 11:13 Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Chester	2009 Volvo S40 T5 Clutch Hi All, Last month i bought my first volvo , a 2009 S40 T5. Its a lovely car and pulls so smoothly through the rev range. I absolutely love it. I do however have what i believe to be an issue with the car that i am hoping someone can help me with. When doing a quick gear change above 5000 rpm the clutch pedal sort of stays down for a second ( with my foot removed) and then springs back up. I have spoken with the garage who i purchased the car from and to cut along story short they have informed me that volvo have said its a "trait" of the S40 T5 engine. Now before i disagree with them it would be good to hear from other owners who have the T5 engine to find out if they have the same issue.
