Default "Safari style" roof rack - any good? Only £99

Are the aluminium "Safari style" roof racks you see on eBay any good? They seem too good to be true, price-wise!

I'm looking for a roof box or rack for my V70.

Only way to find out is try them and see. They look OK but until you see them in the flesh there's no telling, if you don't like the look of them return them.
I know I paid more than that for Volvo roof bars for my P 1 V70 and they whistled like a banshee when the car was moving to the extent I only used them when I needed them and fitted them at the last moment and removed them ASAP.

Paul.

Or you could throw style out of the window and go with a dapper alternative, such as this old bedsted our green rust bucket is cleverly sporting. The blue nylon rope wasn't supplied with the bed, I had to source that elsewhere. :-)

Edit: Would help if i post the pic, w'nt it?
