960 3.0 24V White FOR SALE

Finally decided that I can't afford to keep this car any longer. Shame as its been a very nice drive and I have just put her through MOT so its now got until March 2011.
Very tidy example with just a small amount of surface rust at the bottom of
front wings and a bit of a dent also on front o/s wing.
The bumpers have the occasional scrape as it seems so do most other Volvo cars.
The car has:
7 Seater option
White Bodywork
Self coloured mirrors
Self coloured roof rails
Grey Leather interior
Wood effect dash
Electric sunroof
Electric windows
Premium Sound system
Alloy Wheels
Automatic gearbox

Paperwork with the car shows :

The car has a silky smooth engine and its aux belts were changed at 117,000 miles.
Cambelt changed at 181,000 miles
The car has had new rear self levelling suspension shock absorbers
New water pump
New radiator
New ignition modules
If you are looking for one of these superb Volvo cars . and have pockets deep enough to cope with around 22 - 28mpg then this is it!!
I would be looking for something around £800 (07961 140 152 Steve)

I have been asked to confirm that yes, it is a Volvo factory fitted 7 seat option that is folded away in the boot.

I have had an offer of £650 for this car, does that sound about right. It seems such a shame for a lovely car but I wasn't sure what it would be worth?

Any thoughts

Having seen the photos of the car and from your description I reckon that the offer is a bit low. This is however just my opinion. The colour is not the most popular and this is a gas guzzler. That said, it is (was) a top range motor in its day. Were I in the market for this car, I must admit that I would have been starting about £600 (bit cheeky but you never know) but would probably have (eventually) gone up to £750. This is a motor with some reasonable history and it comes with a full MOT. Time to haggle.

It's a while since I had a 960 but I think £700 to £800 would be fair for this car.

If he's offered £650 see if you can haggle with him up to £700?
