740 volvo auto

hi my mate needs a part that bolts onto rocker cover by 2 bolts it may control the ideling of carb aint sure a plug in conecter pushes into it , any ideas regards billy my text number is 0771 944 5729 xcarnt pm aint got enough posts ive tried to upload pic wont ,i have a picture of valve on phone i can send it by my phone so someone can tell me what the name is
