Look at the area around his rear view mirror. Usually gives it away.

If you get to the point where you can see in your rear view mirror what equipment he's got by his rear view mirror, then you've probably already been pulled over

I've tried several Snooper devices over the years & found they gave far too many false alarms to the point where you'd end up ignoring them. Maybe the new ones are better but I just tend to drive at sensible speeds that minimise the chances of being in a situation where I could be caught unawares.
