Heh, reminds me of the fun I often have removing 'hoodies' or unwanted people from within my vicinity.
When I'm in my local McDonalds, etc and there is a group of troublemakers in my vicinity I have great fun with the remote locking. The Volvo fob is sooo powerful compared to other cars (in terms of range/distance). I too have fun with lights and the alarm. It's amazing how quick the alarm shifts people. The S60 alarm is very loud. I'm loving it! |

Last night on the way home from work along the M1, about 10.30pm (after dark) and a traffic cop in a V70 came flying past me, must have been doing about 120mph+. Not only did he not have any emergency flashers on he had also forgotten to even switch on his headlights/sidelights/driving lights etc. Completely in the dark on the M1 at 120mph!!!!!!
Think he must drive a private Volvo at home and is not used to having to switch the lights on. |

If it's the angel eye (or is it halo?) ones, the ring around the headlight, then IMO that's not too bad. They make the car noticable, better than the side/parking light. It's having to ride around with effectively dipped headlights all the time that I don't really like. I'd prefer another light, brighter than the side/parking/whatever you call them but not full intensity.
I'm thinking are LED replacements for the side/parking lights brighter than the filament type. If so I may swap and just drive with these on (using the light switch setting on the dash). Just my thoughts Quote:
