hi after a cd player for my v40 as it only got the single tape player any out there cheers its a 97 model

what model tape player has it got cd changer opp.or the plug on the back for a multi player......

hi its a cr-902 thats what is on the front of it
there is 2 plugs at the back

As far as I am aware, the CR-902 will not control the remote Volvo 6 CD changer. The CR-906 model will control the CD changer unit but you may also require the connecting cable. This is also the same size as your existing unit. They can be found on eBay at varying prices but make sure that you can get the code if you do go for one of them.

Yoiu could also go for an after market single CD head unit but that option will also require an adaptor cable (which is readily available for several sources - Halfords for example).

If you need the ISO connectors to marry to the Volvo wiring, I have a set that were in my S40 which are now redundant as the correct original stereo is now fitted. Few quid and postage and they're yours if you need them!

if you get no joy i have a volvo tape head unit that came with a 6disc multi player out of the 850 im breaking i have removed all cables from the boot including rear window airel plug just need to see if the head unit wires are a match........just plug in and fit in the boot also have the cover for it to hide it from veiw.pm me a number if you cant see it in my pics wil txt you a pic....gareth...will also make sure i have the radio code..
