I vaguely remember reading somewhere (possibly in an old VOC mag) about Cruise being retro fitted to a Celebration. If memory serves me right, the loom is already set up for it - it's just a matter of knowing how attach/bolt on the various bits of kit and hook it up to the electrics.

My 940 is the same year an model, so the kit should be a compatible. The only difference is that mine is a manual and this kit seems to be from an Auto. Cruise can work with a manual (I know that from our S60), however there might be something which senses the clutch being depressed and shuts off the cruise, just like it does when the break pedal is depressed.

Does anybody out there know anything about this?

Thanks,
MoCam.

You just need an additional pedal switch and bit of vacuum hose for a manual gearbox car (if the wiring is in place). The switches are wired in series. You might also need the little bracket that the pedal switch mounts on.

Thanks "OBV" for the info. Switches in series makes sense. What is the vacuum hose used for tho?

Cheers,
MoCam
