Default Tracing service history

Evening. I’ve recently acquired a 1989 240 GLT saloon with 56k, and the same owner from new until 2018. It’s totally original, and I’ve no reason not to believe the mileage. However, due to the original owner passing away, all paperwork was lost, and all I have is the V5.

Is there any way to contact Volvo directly, and see if they still hold any service records for the car?

Thanks in advance.

Good morn,

Have you tried asking a Volvo dealer? Maybe the supplying dealer's number is somewhere on the car (number plates, key ring, cuddly toy etc...).

Stay safe,

Alan
