Radio finally fitted properly, thanks Nicholas
Thanks to Nicholas Lewin. I've finally got my radio fitted in a proper stereo surround. Very happy. Sorry about the angle of photo, I rotated it on my tablet, saved and uploaded again and it went 180 degrees instead of uploading the correct orientation. Now the radio slides into the cage much easier.

That looks very neat!
I had an Alpine 7292LS years ago and would happily have another. What is the surround? A standard Volvo part? My 240GLT is currently without any stereo and has a gap there (so no surround either)... |

Yes it's a proper fascia. Volvo used to do one and I think you could get aftermarket. It isn't quite iso size. But that's ok as it's just a little trim to make one fit.
Getting harder to find nowadays so I'd jump on one now if I was you. Nick on the sales page I think still has another.
