Flat bonnets
In these strange times, would anybody out there have any info about a flat bonnet for a 240, and a rough idea of how much it would be worth?
Am I correct in thinking they were replaced by tombstone ones in about '84, still with the "dip" scuttle air vent unlike the later 240s which had the taller air vent? Many thanks, Jim |

Yes, bizarre times. By flat bonnet do you mean one like this (1980 car): ... it goes down a bit in the middle, I think the later ones (>84) had a raised section instead. Bonnets normally sell for about £50 at a breakers. Stay safe, Alan |
