XC90 V8 oil cooler

Please help. Do I need an oil cooler before towing with my XC90 V8. One dealer says no. Volvo UK sent me an ambiguous email saying, yes I did need one but to contact dealer as I may not..... thanks then!! What is the feeling on here?

no its not needed, please see here:

It clearly states that you can get one, but you would only require one:

"For extremely hot climate markets in combination with tow hitch."
