Big Injectors
Hiya, im after a big set of injectors for my 940. me7's or something bigger with a flow rate of 350cc upwards.

Hi mate. What you need is a set of 'whites' or 'blues'.
The white injectors will flow at 350ccm using a 3 bar regulator. Blues will flow the same rate using a 3 bar regulator BUT...using a 3.8 bar regulator will allow the blues to flow 395ccm. Hope that helps your choice. |

What car would you get a 3.8 bar regulator off.

right ok mate, cheers for the info. Am i right in saying the green me7 injectors have a bigger flow rate than the blues?
iv just payed for a k24 turbo off Manzed so idealy i could do with a set off the car the turbo came from, s60r i think. Or something around that size which i believe to be 460cc cheers joe Quote:

In point of fact, the standard injectors for the turbo redblocks run at 300cc/min and that's good for 185bhp at the flywheel (at 100% maximum duty cycle and 3 bar fuel pressure) - not ideal as there is no room for hp increase at a later date. 350cc/min injectors run at the ideal 80% max duty cycle, and 3 bar fuel press are good for 215 bhp, and at 100% = 270 horse. So, basically, over 350cc is just a waste of time, money and effort unless you're making, plan to make over 270 bhp; and you'll create problems that didn't exist to boot! BTW, Green injectors run at 465cc/min @ 3.8 bar fuel pressure (over 3.5 is not ideal as it puts undue strain on the standard type fuelling system in general) and are good for 285 horse at the 80% max duty cycle - with up to 355 at 100% Cheers, T
