Default DICE Recommendation

With the mountain of different ones on eBay and Amazon can anyone please recommend an actual one from an actual seller?

I obviously want to buy one as cheaply as possible but I'm a bit apprehensive as to what I might get.

I've been selling them on here for almost 2 years.
They're £100 delivered to the UK mainland but they come fully tested and guaranteed working.
I also provide tried and tested instructions and videos to get you set up.
One of several threads is here.

A selection of my Dice after testing and before packing.
I currently have close to 30 available.

If you search "Volvo Vida" on ebay I bought the first result (£56.99) for £52 a couple of weeks ago using the "make an offer" function.

It does look identical to the units cheshired5 is selling, even having the same orange sticker but the installation instructions were very poor, I managed to get it installed but had to refer to the swedespeed forums (through google) a few times. Instructions on how to use once installed are none existent, again I had to refer to google a couple of times. I am not sure I would recommend it unless you are reasonably confident with computers/windows.

Having said that it seems to work very well. Does everyting I need/have asked anyway.

If you receive one of the 15-20% of dead Dice, that challenge will be a frustrating one.
If price is king though, go for it. The odds are on your side.

Thanks for the update. I've just spoken to the Stealership in relation to the software for the trailer module and asked them about turning the main beam off in switch position "0" at the same time whilst they are doing it. They tell me it's a £96 for the lights software update alone!

This leads me to wondering what can actually be done with a personal version of VIDA/DICE. This was one of the very things I wanted to do to save money. Are you able to tell me exactly what changes I might be able to do to the car and what I can't. I know that software and the like I can't but I am wondering how useful this may be given that Volvo possible have locked their "Brand" so tightly that perhaps very little can be done with out parting with £130 per hour labour charges.

Basically anything that needs software installing is dealer only.
As for what it can do, the list is too long for me to into as it can be model, model year and engine specific.
Probably better for you to list what you'd ideally like from it.....
