Default cars been back

still having problems cant seem to find it . is this a loose wire ??? got garage punch drunk been back nearly every other weekend i think there getting sick of me now but i don't want to fall out with them .they said they might need to keep car a few days to look at it but if they drive it to see if light comes on they could have it for weeks before it dose as it may stay off for 100mls before it comes up .. always stops cruse control working with message on dash ingnition off/on works leaves fault light on .. any ideas . in the hands of the gods. it seems impossible to even buy a code reader for this car without spending thousands to .... i like the car bought for to pull caravan but i am now starting to think volvo don't like you to drive it without making it hurt hard in the pocket why can't they make a reader for this model it can't be that hard. though this won't fix the car it would help...
