Usb suddenly stopped

Hi, my usb has suddenly stopped working..we have been using Lots with no problems. Been on a journey listening to it stopped for a break then went back I car and it says "loading" then unteadable". I tried turning radio on and off, turn off my MP3 (connected to usb) unplug both ends and re plugging in. Nothing helps

Any ideas please?
