Default Help..door window/lock

Front passenger door decided it won't open from inside or out!
Had to sit in back as my wife drive to petrol station. Filed up with fuel then head the door go click which I assume was the deadlock.
It now works.
Got home and locked up so I could get my laptop with Vida.
Went out and unlocked and same thing again.
Could not get it to unlock. Hooked up Vida.
It said pdm error. No Central locking and no power window or mirror motor.
Voltage low at pdm.
Eventually the door went click again and I could open it. Striped off panel. Tried lots of things and eventually I pushed the plug on the window motor and that send to have solved it but the window judders sometimes.
I should mention that vida also said a can network error.
Plug on motor?
Motor?
PDM?
any ideas?
Thanks

Wiggle the wiring loom between door and body, the flexing of the wires over many years can cause some of them to break and then make intermittent contact.

Thanks, took that plug off after ordering a new passenger door module. Pulled out through the frame and slid the rubber sleeve right back. Checked voltage at pins and checked for broken wires.
All good with no problems. Out it all back together and now it all works. I think the plug itself was maybe dirty, plus it had been stood for a while with no use so with the weather I wonder if it had got damp in that plug mixed with a bit of oxidisation.
Did the plug on the drivers door and that solved the intermittent speaker problems.
One question. The passenger door module turned up but didn't work at all. Do they need programming to the car before they work?
Thanks guys 👍

s i understand it, no.

But it must be an identical part number. Or a proper replacement part number as shown in VIDA

Because data bus addressing changed with model years, and different model years may not work....

Still no problems with the door so it must have been the multi plugs.
I've never known a car to have the plug there. It's usually just inside the door of frame where the elements can't get to it as well.
Anyway. It was exactly the same part number. The other number wasn't the same though. Nothing worked. Not even the lights on the switches........
