There's been a brace of Evoques on display in Broadgate Circle this week. They're not bad looking - and should be pretty competent as they're based on the Freelander chassis.

Biggest negative comment the team have had all week is that the boot is small.

That would fill me with confidence knowing that I was buying a vehicle that is built on the same chassis which is renowned for its retained value and reliability

We thought about the RR, but to be honest it is going to have such a massive waiting list, no discounts at all and who really wants to be a lab rat (shaking out all the problems the new to market cars always get).

If in 3 years we still like the look of them, and they have a decent reliability history maybe the XC60 currently on order will get replaced by one of them...

Mind you if the family grows, we like the Volvo experience and the XC90 gets a good facelift it could be one of those
