Default Reverse light switch

2004 manual XC90 04 plate
Reverse switch not working.
Bought a replacement but it's not the right one.
Mine has two round pins
Replacement had a more modern plug type arrangement.
It looks slightly smaller too.
From a motor factor.
After reading internet was there a modification for it.
What's the deal?
Thanks

Hi, always best to go to an outlet that knows the product.

I know there are other sources but I use FRF at Swansea. Give them your vin, tell them you are a forum member and you will get the correct part at, In my experience, a good price... Job done,

John l

Went back to the shop with the old one and they have supplied the correct one now. Fit it at the weekend as well as restoring the headlight plastic to get it through its MOT.
Thanks though, I have used FRF before and was impressed..
