Just be very aware that low battery voltage can play havoc, regardless of how new the battery is.

Always watch your battery voltage in VIDA. Don't trust results if VIDA is reporting less than around 11.8V.

On my car, I'll see VIDA running with 11.8V displayed, and I use my little 5A charger to help prolongate my diagnostic session (5A is not really enough, but every ampere helps) and I also turn off any accessories I don't need, such as interior lighting, radio, nav, climate control etc., to reduce the power consumption.

The car will easily consume 10A to 20A with key on and engine off and many accessories running, and that will deplete a battery down to the low voltage warning threshold quicker than you think!

I think Volvo require a 20A capable power supply to be connected to the vehicle to maintain stable voltage when diagnosing.
It gets really critical when re-flashing controls units - but that's not something you can normally do at home anyway.
I'm using VIDA supplied from Simon on here.
I will get my battery charger out in future.
I thought we were moving forward with tech!...lol
I will be checking out again at the weekend but I've got to put it all back together once the new reverse switch is fitted
