  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default What engine is mine???

Hi All,
I have just bought a 2005 D5 se auto and wanting to change the oils and filters i am finding it very difficult to find the relevant parts as i am told mine is an E3 type engine. But when inputting my reg to parts suppliers comes up with this service kit which a Volvo owners tells me is the wrong spec for my car??? please any help or advice very much appreciated https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/V01-VOLVO...T/223471595543

There are 2 choices of D5 at that age and it is easy to tell which one you have by the colour and f the engine cover. Black and it is a Euro 3 with 163 bhp. Grey and it is a Euro 4 with 185 bhp and a dpf. Looking at that advert it looks like they check the reg number to make sure they send you the right one.
